It's Hip to be a Square is the most simplistic Minecraft resource pack yet released. Every texture has been boiled down to a single color square. Truly, we have peaked.




Jokes aside, this isn't intended to be a serious resource pack, more of a challenge pack. Playing a 1x resource pack makes everything extremely hard to tell apart and makes gathering information nearly impossible. That being said, I would love to see someone beat Minecraft with this pack installed.

It should also be noted that for the majority of textures, they were simply just resized. This means that most textures that share a lot of colors will be difficult or impossible to visually distinguish, such as ores.
