Okay so I love the idea of this, looks great; until the wood touches anything else. As it currently stands you have the wood going outside the block it is meant to stay within, which is causing z-fighting with any surrounding blocks. You need to go farther inward so that even the farthest parts are contained within the block. People mentioned lag, I didn't experience any lag but my pc is very powerful. The z-fighting remains an eye-sore so to me this is unusable until that is sorted out.

You know what? I think the wood looks better if the creases went inside, not the planks going outside. I should change that in version 1.0.

try making it 0.25 or 0.5 px thick.

I'm finished the improved planks model, the creases are 0.5px thick. Now to start working on the logs!
