This pack requires Optifine for Nether and End textures to work.
Description
Recently it occurred to me the oddity of bedrock. While it fits into the Overworld alright, it feels very out of place in the Nether and the End. So I made this pack to make it look like different blocks in each dimension, and to tweak it's existing look.
Overworld
The overworld bedrock uses a similar texture to vanilla, but uses deepslate colors to blend in more, and look like an unbreakable variant of deapslate.
Nether
This variant I wanted to look rough and craggy, as well as a bit darker and brown-ish, to mach the Nether's very grim and hot aesthetic.
End
The end bedrock is the most changed. In vanilla, the bedrock seems to be more of a placeholder for a more man-made block. Every appearance of it in the end is as a part of some sort of construct: the dragon's perch/return portal, the crystal's base on the pillars, and the gateway capsules. Therefore, I wanted the block to look more like an ancient mystical mechanism block that provides the power for the portals and crystals. I also updated the crystal base to mach the new texture.
This pack is free for you to incorporate in your own packs or to modify. I'm not an amazing texture artist, so if you can make a better version of this, be my guest! Credit is not required, but always appreciated!

Update 1.1 : by PogginTheDwarf 09/29/2021 11:48:43 pmSep 29th, 2021
CHANGED:
-Revamped End Texture.
Redid the End Texture, now with an animated texture that pulses with ancient energy! Also made it fit better when it's next to itself. Let me know if you like the new texture more or less than the original; I'll put up a poll on my page.
REMOVED:
-Emissive End Crystal Texture.
Optifine seems to have a bug at the moment where the emissive property doesn't get applied to the entity. I'll add it back if it gets fixed.

Yeah, I designed the End bedrock as a standalone block, but then realized it is a bit weird when put together. Thanks for the suggestion; I going to play around with it more, and see if I can make a texture that makes a little more sense. It's already using CTM, so should be fairly easy to implement. :)
