Updated for 1.20.5/6 plus 1.21 features included!!!
Older versions now available for download on the Clarity Website: https://claritypack.com/#Downloads!
Clarity is a resource pack built on making the world less noisy. The textures are designed to be clear and simple. It is easy to see what things are, visual noise is reduced, and clutter is taken away. When this Is used across a landscape ... so much less nose:
The above also shows the companion packs, Continuity and Connectivity, without most individual block borders. Even less noise, but some folx prefer to see the boundaries, so you can get any one of them.
Although visually simplified, the colors and tones are pretty faithful to vanilla. Things that look good visually in vanilla ought to look similarly in Clarity.
This is a very complete pack. Pretty much everything has been smoothed, cleaned up, and reworked.
The Clarity family has its own web site, so come on over and check it out!
One way to check it out is via my RestWorld resource pack test world, which is also on this site and my own site. Check it out!
(Note to the detail geeks: This is only 99% 16x; I have prioritized simple clean look over adherence to 16x, and for a few blocks I had to choose.)

ETA: I love the water and lava textures. Absolutely adore them!!
Thanks for asking, yes, the license for this allows you to use anything at all, with the caveat that -- if you redistribute your stuff -- you should mention Clarity somewhere in your release notes; here's the license summary, which is at the bottom of the pack's own website. It's _meant_ to be reused!!!
I'd love to see what you've made when you're ready!
The trims were particularly challenging because they are hard to de-pixelate, since they are visually often single pixels, or one pixel wide lines, etc. I think they're pretty good, let me know if you agree.
Lots of little tweaks, of course. I think the bamboo came out pretty nicely.
With cherry wood I had a real conflict. Cherry wood is not pink! It's actually a relatively dark wood with good rich red tones. I'd have loved to work with it, but I decided in the end that my goal of harmony with vanilla tones had to win out, so pink they are.
I changed some of the paintings as I've come across some more rectilinear-working artists, including more women artists, who have been pretty ignored in general.
Let me know what you think!
There's also a link in the "More by BlueMeanial" section on the right of this page.
Let me know wha you think!
Glad you like it!
