I’m open to suggestions how to improve/change the textures!

Thank"s to myblueblankie for reminding me that netherite ingot is made from GOLD not diamond.

As I've stated to another comment I have thought about it, but I'll keep only the diamond without the gold.
If I find the time I may do different versions (one with only gold,diamond and gold+diamond)

Oh, and maybe don't put diamond bits on the part of the helmet that wouldn't actually have diamond beneath it.

Question if you add armour trims to them will it be overlapping the design you have done?

This resourse pack was not made with 1.20 armour trims in mind. I would have to take a look into it, but I do feel like it would overlap with the texture.

Will it change only the items in the cases that netherite it applied over diamond, or will it also change pure netherite items?

I do not see a point in changing the pure netherite items (mainly the Netherite Block) I feel like they look great and do not need a re-texture, so only the applied over items change.
