At one point, Yaar the Pirate was just an ordinary deck-swabber. Yaar’s real name had been forgotten, as he was only addressed as “Yaar” by the captain. Yaar would dutifully serve his pirate captain every day, even if it meant forcing his pirate friends to walk the plank. In fact, Yaar was a very ordinary pirate and was easily overlooked in a crowd.


Really, the only reason Yaar ever became captain of the ship The Sea Sponge was because he made it to the helm first, after the previous captain fell overboard.


Ever since then, Yaar has wanted to be the best pirate captain that ever existed. Unfortunately for him, he isn’t very good at coming up with original ideas. Yaar is always practicing his pirate talk, and working hard to stay drunk on rum. He is currently searching far and wide for a parrot that repeats his name, “Yaar”. Yaar even had his hand amputated just so that he could have a hook for his left hand.


“Yaar. Avast ye Maties. Theres Land ahead! oh wait… I mean, Land Ho!”
