Story:
Many wished for fortune, many wished for world dominance and chose the dark side. As the first female-born of the long male offspring generation of the Smith family, Misera was condemned the moment she was born. The family blamed all their misfortunes on her. Misera however, just held everything inside. At many times she was on the verge of exploding but she tolerated all the hatred sent towards her. When she was 20, a severe housefire engulfed her family mansion. As the Misera was awoken by the fire, she dashed out of her room and helped the entire family escape the engulfing mansion. Once everyone was out, Misera's father and two of her brothers saw this as an opportunity to be rid of the misfortune which "caused" the fire. They dragged the powerless Misera back into the burning mansion, barricaded her in the closet and left her to be engulfed by the flames.

They were certain once Misera is dead, all the family's misfortunes will come to a halt. It did not. When Misera's older brother reached the Smith's new home after purchasing groceries, he noticed a sight he will never forget. Misera was walking around the neighborhood, donned in a red gown. As she walked past a building, the building immediately engulfed into flames. Soon, the entire neighborhood was razed to the ground and Misera vanished. The National League of Justice (NLJ), the legion of superheroes that defend the city were alerted. They found Misera walking towards another city and imprisoned her in a fireproof vessel for fifty years. Misera spent fifty years in captivity and the NLJ were unsuccessful in attempts to calm her down. In an attack by the Forces of Evil, Meira was freed and was promised greater power if she joined them. Although she does not know the true intentions of the Forces of Evil, she was healed and empowered by the evil scientist Haku Breusteid. She takes parts in attacks towards the NLJ constantly and is given the code name Incandesco for her powers to set things on fire, if there is moisture in the air. Will Misera ever find her true purpose? Or will she be a puppy to the Forces of Evil?
