if I am being honest, I don't really know what happened. I pulled away from big communities for a while. away from people. I've been writing a lot of poetry on my phone before I sleep, and just writing in general. I wrote a poem and made a piece of art that convey it better than anything I could type right now. I will include them in this submission for you to read and enjoy.

masterpiece



my life repeats and cycles.

i catch on fire,

burn the canvas,

suffocate the nothingness

until there is no more air

for a flame.

and then the floor tiles

move underneath me,

trip me,

take me,

and the wick smokes for weeks.

the clouds roll under my sky.

the shadows move with them,

and the light catches on the water.

i carry the easel out to the garden.

and with tears

dried across my face,

i set it down in the grass.




it rains,

but my eyes fill with fire.

it rains,

but i make a masterpiece.
