heheheh... yeah the guy who decided to design these was an idiot.

Basically, they were designed to get rid of "trash" a lot more efficiently than the last generation (Pip's one of those) but the programmer made one fatal flaw, he didn't specify the definition of "trash" too well... Also these guys were super buggy, and so using it's AI, it realized, it would be much easier to keep the moon clean if there weren't people trashing it up. Pair that with the fact that "trashy" is an adjective that can be applied to humans, and you get a recipe for disaster.

In short, the moon ended up having to be evacuated due to the rising amount of casualties caused by this new generation of bots. Luckily, they were still super new, and so there hadn't been that many shipped to the moon in the first place, but they still ended up causing enough damage to make people decide to abandon the idea of taking any more vacations to this moon. On top of that, the risk of being incinerated by these bots made many of the employees at the resorts quit, and eventually the resorts had to shut down.

A lawsuit ensued against the company that had created the bots, and it was eventually shut down.

This particular bot was nicknamed Skillet. He is the oldest of the 33rd gen, tho in total, only 100 were produced.
