The city was dark, with oblivious and knowledgeable children running the streets alike.
A dark alley filled with neon lights, the same as every other alley in the city.
A girl with violet eyes and a sulky attitude wandered alone.
Monsters roamed this street as common as it was purses to get lost, as the city called it.
Lumos ventured further down the street and found it.
And iridescent glow surrounding a single street light.
It flickered and shut off, the glow shoving its way through the bolts and to the ground.
Lumos' eyes darted to the middle of the street, as a black sun rose up out of ink.
Preparing her cyborg arm, equipped with its hidden light gun.
Blasting at the monster using her arm, it scuffled back into the wires and left the street.
Sighing, Lumos pushed the gun back into her arm and dashed down to a new street, to find her foe.
