Human Cannonball is a man who was born with an iron cannonball for a head, and ever since he was a kid he always had a passion for lion taming! As he grew up he studied the skill set immensely, and even trained his own pet lion named GunPowder. When he first started getting jobs in the circus his show was often recieved with mixed feelings. They liked the show, but were always dissapointed that he never gets shot out of a cannon.Overtime his popularity grew with each performance, and the demand for him to be shot out of a cannon became more and more extreme each time.

One fateful night he was coming out to perform, and the cannon from an earlier performance that night was still out on the ring as he made his way to the Lion Cage. People in the audience went crazy chanting "CANNON! CANNON!" over and over. As HC walked past the cannon and over to the lions, the audience began to riot! People were throwing peanuts and cracker jacks every which way! Fires were started! The elephants were injured, including one that fell over and crushed a clown to death! Then as it seems the madness couldn't get any worse, the lions broke free from the cage!

This was his chance, he knew it would be hiss ony chance to make people see that he is truly meant to be a Lion Tamer. Without a moments hesitation, HC ran for the lions before they began tearing every audience member apart. The chaos of the situation made them quite angry, but he managed to get most of them back into the cage. A lagre series of gasps could be heard sweeping through the rioting crowd as the last remaining lion outside of the cage, GunPowder, slowly approached and abandoned stroller with a crying baby strapped into it, licking his lionly lion lips.

Human Cannonball ran over towards GunPowder as fast as he could, but before he could make it, BANG! A Circus Security Sniper gets GunPowder down with one shot straight through his head. GunPowder collapses to the ground, and HC ran over to comfort his fallen friend. Gunpowder said, "I'm sorry Master..." Oh did I mention GunPowder can talk? Well yeah he could talk! "I knew the risks of trying to eat the baby, I guess I pressed my luck a bit to hard this time..." HC replied, with tears rolling out from where his eyes would be if his head wasn't a cannonball, "Don't be sorry! If it was up to me, I'd let you eat all the babies you could ever want! I love you Pawder!" "...And I love you too, mast-..." One last drawn out breath leaves the lions mouth, as a pair of paramedic clowns proceed to put the lion on the stretcher, and then accidentaly leave him behind as the clown ambulance drives away.

Several years had passed since that fateful event, and Human Cannonball had refused to ever perform again. He had run away from the circus and moved into a small apartment in the city. His head was rusted up, and so was his heart. He grew a resentment for what once was his life's passion, and it seemed like he had given up on the world, until the day HC heard someone knocking on the door of his house. He slowly sshuffled over to the door, and opened it to find a young girl of about 8 years old looking up at him with a long wide smile.

"Do you remember me Mr.Cannonball?" the little girl asked, to which HC replied, "No, go away!" and HC shuffled back to the couch where he was watching a documentary on lions in th wild, forgetting to shut the door. The little girl walked in and watched the show from behind the couch. After about a minute she said, "I was the baby who almost got eaten by the lion." Hearing that made HC almost jump out of his seat! "Why on earth would you want to come see after what happened that night?" She said, "You used to be the coolest Lion Tamer EVER! I only got to see your show once, but people were starting fires, and pushing elephants over. Even with all that going on you made almost all the lions go back into the cage! Then when that really big one came close to me, you made its head explode with your awesome Lion Taming powers and saved me! <3"

He was about to correct her about what happened that day, but decided not to bring up the painful loss of his beloved friend. "Well obviously we know eachother, so what did you want from me, an autograph?" "No!" Says the little girl, "I want you to start performing again! I've seen other lion tamers and other circuses, and they're not nearly as awesome as you are! Won't you PLEASE do it!" HC let out a soft sigh as he explained, "Nobody ever wanted me to be a Lion Tamer. All they ever wanted was for me to get shot out of a cannon because I have an iron cannonball for a head." The little girl walked in front of HC, blocking the view of the TV as she said, "It doesn't matter if your head is made of iron, or meat, or brains. It's how you use whats in that head that really matters!" A moment of silence fell between them, before HC finally stood up and said, "You know what, you're right! Thank you young lady, I think I finally know what to do! Get ready for the greatest show you ever saw!" He said with what probably would look like a grin on his face.

A month later the day of truth finally came. The neon sign lit up "Human Cannonball Finally returns, with cannons this time!" In what feels like an instant after a lifetime of waiting there he was, standing in the center ring, with the spotlight on him. His head was freshly polished and showed very little sign of the rust that once covered it. His old Lion Taming suit fit him just as perfectly as it had back in the day, and the color of it didn't fade in the slightest. (The skin is what he looked like on this day btw) Next to him lay a beautiful large cannon painted with the stars and stripes like the american flag. Silence sweeps over the crowd in anticipation. HC takes a mic hanging from the ceiling. "Many years have passed since I last saw all of you, and I've had a long time to think about the decisions I've made in life. On this day I'm finally giving you the one thing you've been waiting for for all these years! Question is are you ready for it? I SAID ARE YOU READY FOR IT!" Everyone applauds and cheers with as much intensity as they had the day they rioted! As the crowd keeps cheering 7 more cannons are rolled up to HC in a circle around him! "AIM!" Yells HC as the audience gets a bit quieter with sounds of counsion going around. "FIRE THE CANNONS!" yells HC as loud as he can, and each cannon launches a lion into the audience in every direction.

As the smoke from the blasts settles, he can see the audience panicking and running away from the lions, as he gives out one last order. "NOW SHOW THEM WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF!" As he yells that  all the lions all begin to juggle 5 flaming hoops each. The audience is enamored by the amazing spectacle they see happening right in front of them, and everyone applauds the lions as they return to the stage while still juggling all the hoops. Truly, this was the day HC reached his true potential. Above all else he knew that after this day, nobody  wouldd ever bother him about cannons again in fear of getting lions launched at them, and all was right with the world.
