I have been wanting to build this for a while now. I am very very proud of it because of how much rigging I forced myself to put. The build is complete with an interior, including my attempt at creating engines.
Susquehanna or Siskëwahane is a Lenape Indigenous word meaning muddy river or oyster river. The ship which has this name was laid down in 1847 and launched in 1850. It famously took part in Commodore Matthew C. Perry's expeditions to Japan in 1853 and 1854. The expedition was arguably a significant event in history as it played a role in influencing Japan's subsequent reforms and ascension as a major power. Perry's ships were known as black ships or kurofune (黒船) in Japanese. The ship was also part of the Atlantic Blockading squadron for the Union during the American Civil War.
Rendered with Chunky. Screenshots for the interior use Complementary Reimagined shaders. When placing the schematic, sea pickle blocks, which represent alcoholic bottles, as well as various carpet blocks, may get dislodged.
You may use my build but please give me credit! Thank you!
