This map was commissioned in January 2015 by CyanideEpic, Chrisandthemike, and Carflo as the set for a Minecraft Song Parody Video. The content of this map was created by myself as a solo build which took approximately 3 weeks to construct and was made in 1.7.10 Minecraft.

The map itself is designed to be part of the youtubers Jurrassiccraft themed series which revolves around history, discovery and adventure. The set is designed with an Aztec style as requested and features a city on an island on a lake surrounded by a jungle environment which includes beaches, hills, lowlands, mountain ranges and a network of rivers which snake through the environment. I have taken inspiration from the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan and the Aztec map which is on the Project 1845 which is a server for which I am a building contributor and administrator.


The focus is primarily on the central city plaza which is where most of the detailed structures are however there is also a mountain on top of which there is a temple nestled away over another lake which is accessible via a cave featuring a small dock with a boat that is used to access to mountain top lake.


The terrain was created using a combination of hand building and voxelsniper and buildings were created by hand followed by using world edit to expand patterns etc to save time as this had to be done to a tight production time. Currently the map only features default trees as requested by those who commissioned the map in order to save time. However If I get some free time I may update the map at a later date with fully custom tree sets I have made. Right now I am busy working on several other commission projects for a variety of people and hence updating this map will have to wait for now.

Currently you cannot download the map, I had some issues with the map file and the site it had been uploaded to and hence its been removed temporarily. I will be updating this in the next week or so once I have had a chance to re upload the map file, after which you will then be able to download it.
