One evening I was at home listening to the Russian Navy song ''Экипаж - Одна Семья'' (The Crew Is One Family) on YouTube, which used a cool picture of 5 Russian warships sailing in a line during Soviet Navy Day in 1986.
This managed to get me motivated to replicate the 5 ships visible in the picture in Minecraft. Halfway through the project I found yet another cool picture of 6 Russian warships (and a submarine) followed by 2 Chinese warships. So I decided to build these ships as well (replacing the Chinese ships with other Russian ships).
And halfway through those ships I decided to finish the project with the Admiral Kuznetsov Aircraft Carrier.
The hull of this Aircraft Carrier is heavily based on the Liaoning Carrier built by Ur-Ban.
All ships have been built using a 1:1 scale.
The collection contains the following ships:
Kynda-Class Cruiser
Kara-Class Cruiser
Sovremenny-Class Destroyer
Udaloy-Class Destroyer
Kashin-Class Destroyer
Slava-Class Cruiser
Ivan Gren-Class Landing Ship
Admiral Gorshkov-Class Frigate
Steregushchiy-Class Corvette
Gepard-Class Frigate
Admiral Grigorovich-Class Frigate
Admiral Kuznetsov-Class Aircraft Carrier
