Hello there, ladies and gentlemen.  Gray Remnant here.  Today, I’m submitting my first contest entry, and it’s for the Penthouse Sweet competition here on PMC.  Now, your first question is probably something along the lines of “Gray, what the hell have you done?!?”  That is a very pertinent question, and it has a straightforward answer.  I’ve built Steve’s Nightmare Suite.

You see, I was thinking about taking the obvious route and building Steve a glorious, posh penthouse suite fit for a king.  But then I thought “why do that, when I can just create a chaotic scene of death and destruction?”  So, instead of building Steve’s dream suite, I built the exact opposite: his nightmare suite.

Why?  Because, impossible as it is to imagine, I’m a somewhat twisted person with a very dark turn of mind.  Which brings us to your probable second question: “What the hell is this?”  With that question in mind, I think now would be a good time for you to read the background lore.  Go for it!  :D

Did you enjoy it?  What?  You’re mad that I killed off Steve?  Pfft, The Walking Dead does crap like that all the time and nobody seems to give a damn.  Oh, and by the way, I’d like to dedicate the lore to my good friend, Horwitz1011.  Though, he is ten times more evil than the ‘Dr. Horwitz’ depicted in that story.  It’s true.

So, let’s talk about what this build is exactly.  This is the aftermath of a dark ritual that summoned a pandemonic demigod into our world.  He is a primeval entity, who shan't be named, and he has sharp teeth, slimy skin, and four long, clubbed tentacles.  The immediate effect of the dark lord’s arrival was the destruction of most of the suite, sandstorms that’ve caused a build-up of soul sand on the windows, and the presence of some endoplasmic goo from another dimension (because that always seems to happen in the movies).

The process of building this was not dissimilar from the process I underwent to build the Temple of Oum Parkour Course.  The process goes something like this:

Step 1 - Build a nice, lavish structure with lots of shiny, luxurious interior work.
Step 2 - Embrace the dark side, go crazy, and break everything!
Step 3 - Add cracked stone brick, cobwebs, hanging moss, vines, iron bars, and cobblestone.
Step 4 - Render to perfection.

The only difference is that this time I also added a monstrous, inter-dimensional deity.  Yes, because Steve’s nightmare wouldn’t be complete without that.

Anyway, I’ll stop rambling so you guys can enjoy the build.  Be sure to set the time to night, because it's meant to be dark and gloomy (/time set 15000).
