Hey, took a break from data packs to release a map I had made with my little brother back when he was 7. The map consists of eight space-themed race tracks that you run on while under a large-amplitude speed effect. It's a simple, small map, but it was a blast to play on our LAN. Hope you all like it.

Before you start a race against another player, you have the option to select a single item from a chest. Each of the items is OP in its own right, from a sword with knockback x100 or a shield with thorns x100, the items add some fun to the mix.

If you happen to run off track, pressing your sneak button will make your player very slowly levitate upwards. This is intentionally made to be a slow process, so in some situations, it may be better to perish in the void and restart.

Some of the tracks are harder than others, but all-in-all the map was a fun way to unwind. But don't worry, the map works perfectly fine in 1.16.1.

Also, was wondering what software/mod/plugin did you use to build that ?

For the large discs and spheres, I used McEdit, which for me doesn't work in versions 1.13 or higher.

For the more complex-looking nebulas and web-like formations, I used two command blocks hooked up to a redstone repeater. One block would fill blocks at a dropped item's position, and the other would teleport the items down so they wouldn't get stuck in the blocks they created. After both command blocks were activated, I'd paint a pattern by dropping items from high up.

Sometimes I'd mix it up a bit by changing the operation of the commands, maybe by making the blocks form in an area constrained within a specific radius, or increasing the speed/magnitude at which the items are teleported downward.
