South Mithlond is entirely created by player Tauregandeth. She explicitely provided permission to create this post to share this with the minecraft community in this way.

It is set as a rural village of the High Elves near Mithlond in Lindon, on Ilu Ambar - Quenta Arda, a LOTRmodded server.



South Lindon currently comprises the following finished builds: palace, prison, barracks/ training hall, walls and gates, stables, halls of learning and a school/library/scholar hall.

The project started in January 2019 and is entirely build in survival mode on the server with assistance of the schematica mod. Most designs were created using single player and creative mode.

The project is not finished as many additions are still planned like docks, more shops, a forge hall and a market. However, many structures are already fit for purpose on our server, which is to provide a stage for immersive roleplay, especially for the characters in the factions of the High Elves and their allies and friends. The settlement is inhabited by Elves of Lindon so it's a fairly hostile place for any player or NPC with negative alignment to them.

The screenshots provided are made using Optifine, slightly customised LOTRmod textures and Sildur's Vibrant shaders.
