Sandō-ji Temple
This is a first proof of concept Japanese design inspired by various Bhuddist styles, and also my debut submission to PMC. The kanji on the wall inside is Shū which means collection (or in minecraft terms, gathering in general). Behind the kanji wall is a staircase leading up to the second floor living quarters.
A lot of work went into creating the stone tile roof design which features a gentle curve that flares at the ends. The wooden support beams are intentionally bulky to support the large roof overhangs.
By design, this building is modular and its elements can be used to make larger structures or compounds.
Texture Pack: Conquest 1.8 by Monsterfish
Shaders: Chocapic Ultra
Map: Fantasy by Lemon Fox
