St Elizabeth's church is one of the most iconic structures of the Wrocław's panorama. The gothic structure dates back to the 14th century, when construction was commissioned by the city. The main tower was originally 130,5 meters tall which means that it was one of the tallest buildings in the world but in 1529 spire collapsed during the storm. The tower was rebuilt with a much smaller renaissance helmet of the form that exists to this day.
