Major Update:
I am ending this project to start a new and better one (4/24/16)
The reason I am doing this is because a lot of this project was incorrect or just off in a way that it made me upset whenever I looked at it ( because I am a perfectionist). The new project I am doing now is going well so far, so expect a new post on it soon. :) The rest of this post remains largely unchanged from last time.

Introduction
Hey guys, I'm aBitterMelon! You may have heard of me from my other project of "New York in Minecraft by aBitterMelon!" That I created long ago. That project was very fun and all but I always felt that everywhere I turned there was a mistake or something looked off. I started it as an ametuer so I never measured any streets or made accurate heights for each building until a little later on. I feel like trying to correct massive mistakes is harder in minecraft than starting a fresh, new plate; so that's what I did. I am currently not sure if I want to continue the other project or not but I am getting really interested in this project now!
Download Details
In the world download I didn't include Midtown Manhattan becaue it is largely incorrect and incomplete. Thanks for understanding. Also, in the dowload you will find many unfinished buildings and empty streets. Trust me, you don't have to let me know about them. Disclaimer: In this world me and my friends hid many signs and easter eggs for you to find. Many of these contain profanity, and selective humor. If you get offended easily, ignore these signs.
Details
So far this project is based in the financial district of the Manhattan borough in New York City. The date of the map is the year 2001 (The same year I was born) before the September 11th Terrorist attacks (spare me your conspiracies please). This project (unlike my other project) is in a definite scale of 1:2 (every block=2 meters). This means that I can build every single building in New york (Empire State Building, WTC, Chrysler Building, etc.) without having to make the proportions off! This map is basically in a 1:1 scale but since no height mod has been released without any bugs for minecraft 1.2.5+, I figure 1:2 scale looks good enough, and I was right!
Builders
Unlike my previous project, I started off strong with the help of my friend. and helper Agustv. He helped me build may buildings such as The Chrysler building, the Harriman building, 500 fith avenue, and many more. His help was much appreciated but I felt like we could build much more with another helper. Then spunod0009 found my videos and was eager to help so I let him. He has built many gret buildings such as 17 state street, 7 state street, 1 state street plaza, 1 Wall St. court, One New York plaza, Two New York plaza, One Financial square and more. If not for him I would be weeks behind :)
Notable Achievements
-Completed the entire old WTC complex.
-Mapped out all of lower Manhattan.
-Built most if not all tall buildings in lower manhattan.
-Was able to light up every single building using my special technique and redstone torches!
-Is completely in a 1:2 perfect scale.
-Mapped out many streets such as part of Broadway and Wall St.

2- Then click "Download(20.4 mb)" and a file named "Melonia updated.zip" will appear in your selected download location.
3- Next you double click the .zip file to unzip it and a folder named "Melonia updated" will appear in the same location as the .zip did.
4- That "Melonia" folder is the world save so just drag that into your minecraft worlds folder and wallah! Go ahead, try it!
