Just a video and some images from a server I set up ten years ago when minecraft was still in beta. No gameplay altering mods, just a few minor changes to the original texture pack. The only modding concerned server security against griefing. Some builds are mine and others gleaned from different contributors (THX to BladeCraft). In general I transformed them or improved them because often they were only facades. So all the buildings were functional, no empty rooms. We don't see it on the video or on the photos but a subway and a sewer system ran under the city. You can find references to science fiction classics, series, etc... This server was only accessible by solving a series of puzzles on a first server linked to a series of websites ( Myst or Riven type puzzles), some have spent almost a year solving the puzzles to be able to access the final world. I was constantly evolving this universe when I permanently lost the map during a save error. The map was running on Bukkit hosted on a dedicated server in my basement and could accommodate 40 simultaneous players.
