Constructed by Kikkawa Hiroie in 1608 as his personal castle.
The castle was dismantled as per the Ikkoku-ichijo (一国一城, One Castle Per Province)
order established by the Tokugawa Shogunate in 1615.
Kikkawa Hiroie was vassal of the Mōri clan and also member of the familly,
because his father was one of the son of Mōri Motonari.
The actual castle is a replica dating from 1962 inspired by artistic representations.
The map is not for DOWNLOAD.
