Hello, and first I would like to say thank you for clicking on this post. It's very hard it is to start an account on anything, really, so every view counts!
If you don't want to read my rambling, at least skip to the bottom for some important information.

The Map
This is supposed to be a British Colonial city circa 1650. The map (My previous post) is based off of St. Lucia in the Caribbean, and it is a 2,000 by 2,000 block map, though the island is only about 1,500 blocks long. The water level is the same as default, 62, the same as vanilla, so you look out onto an endless ocean instead of some strange cliff in the distance. There is one large mountain on which the whole island is built on, with dense vegetation near the shore but little on the slopes. If I am completely honest, I didn't add barely any cliffs because they are quite hard to make look good (I use WorldPainter). The City
Despite its Caribbean setting, I based lot of the buildings (Keep in mind it is about 10% done) off of Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. Most buildings are gross and slightly dirty, but the Church/Parish, whatever you want to call it, is much prettier and more welcoming. I did this because of the devout Puritan settlers who first came here. My building styles generally involve fewer blocks and less decoration than most people's, but I like the motto "Form follows Function". You may see this in the somewhat lowly detailed houses here. I prefer realism in my buildings.
The Population
The City of Charleston (or at least how I depict it) has a low population, about 1,000 I would say. It is made mostly up of Fishermen and Craftsmen, building from the valuable Mahogany wood commonly found in the area. Some are slaves working in sugar plantations on the island (Death to the birch wood!). Few children live here, maybe from a recent epidemic, or maybe since of its relatively new status, I don't know, make up your own story :). Most adults, or anyone really, never see the outside world except for tradesmen and Government officials, because of the very lax conscription and drafting policy here due to the British Government's want to grow sugar plantations.
Some important notes:
I don't have infinite time. I mostly only work on this on weekends because of school and work.
I use the Medieval Texture Pack by Tylakya for my builds on here.
I also use Chocapic13 (Couldn't find link sorry) for my images.
English is not my native language, so please forgive any spelling mistakes.
Edit:
The save file for Georgetown has sadly been corrupted. So therefore I can't build or let you download the world as I don't have it. Thanks for understanding.
Ending population: 644
Buildings: Approximately 130
5 Months in the making...
stay tuned....
