Dol Guldur Hill of Sorcery

History

Dol Guldur, known as the Hill of Sorcery in Sindarin, is the highest point of the southwestern part of the forest of Mirkwood.
It was first inhabited by the Sylvan Elves, during the Second Age, and then became Sauron's stronghold.

Our work

We tried to recreate the movie-accurate version of the ruins. It is playable as part of a Siege / capture-the-flag gameplay on our server.

The map displays the following parts :

• Goblin Grotto
  

All towers are parkourable from the interior or the exterior.
Terrain was a flatgrass and was generated using WorldEdit and VoxelSniper. No worldpainter used.
