Beneath the Roses — An ACC3 submission

This map was made in one month. It features a few puzzles to introduce the player to the mechanics they'll use throughout the map, before bringing them into the boss.

There are two paths the player can take:

• Light Path: Complete the map as intended, following a linear progression.
• Dark Path: Early on there is an opportunity to deviate from the map, where it is up to you to make a choice.

The map centers around the use of a Trident, which you can switch between throwing, and using the Riptide enchantment.

Story

The lore goes as follows:
A while after defeating the Curse of Vilethorn, you find yourself hanging out with the townsfolk.
You're talking with Ruven about how things were when the Curse had the town on its grip. Talking about the initial response, He tells you about a man named Lecter. A tech genius who happened to be out of town when the Curse arrived.
Although he was exiled, his lab remained in the Catacombs. The idea of exploring an abandoned laboratory is enticing— it certainly sounds like an adventure...
