Attack of the Daleks.
There's a fair amount of Dr Who content for Minecraft already I know, but I wanted to create something specific to my own relationship with the UK series. I first started watching it when I was a young child in the late 1970's. My father would tease me later that I would hide behind our Sofa when the Daleks appeared on our T.V.
It was Tom Baker, the amazing actor who played the iconic character who I personally thought was the definitive Doctor. The others, especially the more recent actors, are amazing too.
I was so mesmerised (and petrified) by the Daleks design, that one Christmas I begged my mother to get me one. I remember that Christmas morning opening that little box and taking out the thing that actually gave me nightmares, and playing with it all day.
So I remembered vaguely the Tardis interior being infinite (citation needed) so I decided to create the effect by building the Tardis interior in the Netherworld. The Tardis most memorable feature is the interior being bigger than the exterior. The explanation for this in the series is that the interior occupies a different dimension than the interior. So I guess building the interior in the Nether is rather authentic. I have to admit when the Map was finished I had fun going in and out of the Nether portal to get the feel of what it would be like to enter a real Tardis.
I hope some Dr Who fans (and Minecraft fans) discover this map. If not I'm still happy I made it.
Thank you.

Added render of tardis interior. Had to create a large schematic to render in Blender as you can't put netherworld in Mineways.

Will be better when the map is finished. Just working on the Tardis interior which is built in the nether. Thank you😊
