After a lot of failure I can finally present my least awful failure, my 1.5:1 star wars AT-AT. There isn't really a good choice for materials for this build so I just used andesite for the whole thing, it looks ok. I know the legs and head should probably be bent but it would look really bad. More stuff for hoth coming soon.

Thank you, I didn't put a download on this one because a lot of the block states are not vanilla friendly and dont copy paste well. I might putout a download once I finish my hoth map using them though. A map download with just this would be cool too if you down. I honestly think yours looks better than those for the proper scale and interior space.
