If there's one thing I've discovered while perusing the PMC forums, it is probably that I am far older than most of the other people here (forget "old enough to be your parents", I'm edging up in "grandparents" territory; you all make me feel ancient in comparison!).

And if there's one thing I've discovered while looking at all the projects on PMC, it is that I am likely far less talented too.

But hey, no worries there. I'm in this for the fun and as an outlet for what little remains of my creative juices (uh-oh, an old geezer talking about his "juices"; run!). Minecraft is like Lego blocks for me; they're fun to snap together and before you know it, you have built... something. It may not be anything to look at, but it's yours. That's very rewarding. So I'm not much into the "adventure" mode, or PVP or even building on other servers; for me, it's all about Creative mode on my very own world.

And occassionally I do manage to put together a design or two that's vaguely interesting to look at. It seemed such a waste not to share them with anyone else, especially since I've been inspired by other people's creations here on PMC. So I decided to take the plunge and start uploading not only some of the larger builds I've created, but some of the resources I use to put them together. If they are useful or (dare I dream) even inspire some other builders, than it's well worth the effort I think.
