Server Demo: Below are clips of the foundation and scope of the server. There is still a lot to do and many features may change, in the meantime I wanted to share.

Here is some Wind Waker inspired building concept with tricksy tunnel entrances, utilizing NoCubes Mod. This will be integral to the construction of Windfall Island. (All other islands will be left alone to be player claimed. The long term goal is to maybe construct Outset Island, small islands with puzzles, traps, and treasures, but for now that has to wait). (Part 2) Lockpicking mechanic creates thievery game play, (doors can be picked too).
To protect against players breaking blocks property stakes are used. Larger sizes are available. Mod: ProtectIt (Part 1)

(Part 2) This is a clip of changing property names and generating deeds that will allow buying or selling of owned land as part of the economy. Functional waterwheels and windmills, as well as market display cases. Mods: Create, Simpleshop (Part 1)
(Part 2) Portable cages allow players to capture animals found on other islands, or even steal another players, and bring it back to their own island. Hammocks and wind chimes also create a more alive and inviting feel. Mods: Comforts, Portable Cages, Chimes
Player made art can now become a part of economy, as well as establishing art galleries. Mod: Xercapaint Chess for fun or even gamble (and other games!) Mod: Table Top Craft
Lovely mailboxes with mailman. Send items or written letters. Can send anonymously for fun. Mod: Snailmail (Part 1)

Dinning set and cookware. Mods: Farmers Delight, Paladin Furniture Mod (Farmers delight may go due to stoves not needing fuel and being a permanent cook source) Spiders move more immersive now and also create cobwebs. Mods: Spiderstpo, Spiders Produce Webs

Lovely comic bubbles for immersive chatting. Localized/ regional chat mods are not compatible with text bubble mods, a "solution" is to scale your chat size to zero in the settings (optional of course). Mod: Comic Bubbles Chat

Well that's about it all to show for now. The plan now is to decrease bloat, finish Windfall Island constructed, and optimize the server for a smooth experience. Thanks to all the incredible people making the game what it is today. Long term goals would be to create custom resource packs and mods. Thanks for stopping by.

And Dragon Roost to Outset - 7 minutes

The goal now is getting the world scale in that sweet spot where players can get lost easily if they aren't prepared, without being a travel slog. Using worldpainter with these times will help create challenging navigation and limited island resources, the foundation of the server.

Economy notes: In current minecraft the land, ore, and other materials quickly lose value because it is everywhere and easy to find. The solution is to replace the land with a vast ocean of small islands that will become player dominated. Property/ Land Deeds will become an integral part of the economy as players will want to expand farms, build something creative, build their own Market Town, or even have a private oasis just for themselves. The ideas are endless but the land will not be.

As a big fan of Minecraft, Winder Waker, and Anno 1404 Venice, I have begun my own process of combining my three favorite game experiences into one.
