PMC/Discussion Why do we keep on playing MInecraft?

Every new Minecraft World is a new adventure, and even when I play my long living world (the world exists since version 1.8.9) I always find new things to build, or new areas to explore e.g. to find new items and structures added in later versions.

Mostly exiting for me is building new redstone technic, Videos from TheJoCraft are always a great inspiration to find new ideas what you could do with redstone

It is confirmed now, that Tuff Golem and Sniffer (including its plants). are only for decoration.

And the rascal will bringt multiple different items (not only iron pickaxes).

ROFL that is what many people like to do for the sniffer.

Peaolple like to vote this, because they expeckt to get a new usefull plant, but nowbody knows if it will be usefull or not

Thats true.

But for the sniffer is say that it will bring any new seeds.

Nowbody knows if this seeds grow to anything usefull

If the rascal gives you a price for hide and seek, there would be the hope to get any "seek" anchantment.

E.g. the tools maby show you where you can find ores or anything similar.
But thats yust and Idea, nowbody will know for sure what the mobs will do

I saw all videos multiple times.

And yes, they say it will find anything new, but the say nothing if this plants will be usefull, or if it is yust a new decoration or another way to make dye.

I agree, but this is every year the same.

You only get a few informations about the new mobs.
Nobody knows truely how they will be implemented

I agree.

If the sniffer only gives you a plant what maybe issnt usefull, that everybody would be disabpointed.

And I am quite sure that the rascal would not be a "walking enchatment table" so for sure it would bring anything new.

The question is, if how usefull the new enchatment(s) will be.
When you get it from hide and seek, maybe it gives your tools any (Seek rare ores) ability, but knowbody could be sure

Yes, the ally seems to be more usefull.

But in the videos BEFORE the mosnters are released you always get only a few informations how they will work.

and this year ... tuff golem looks like a walking item frame.

But what it realy could to IF they implement it, nobody can know for sure

When I can vote in the laucher, thats great, thx for the info.

I tried to find more officla infos how the vote will be done, but I could not find very much from mojang about that

I agree, nice deco is good to have.

But when a new ore / metal was added, many people yust hope something MORE.

e.g. Copper hoppers, Copper tools or any new things you could craft out of copper.

Currently the only realy special point on copper is, that it changes color over time, when you build anything with it

Currently copper has only 2 recipes where you can use it.
The only other use is as building block.

For Iron or even gold or lots more recipes.
So yes, if there would be a way to craft golems that can be usefull for redstone meachnics out of copper, would make sense to me.

Currently Iron is the most importand metal, and copper the least important metal.

I know, but I never had any use for this in my minecraft life.

Maybe thts a block that you need when you try to make a realy special designed earth path, but for me its enough yust right-click with my shovel.

No, i dont say someting pretty is not good.
I yust think a new mob should bringt something whar every player can use for anything, not only this peaple who build a garden or anything

Unforunally not.

There was a short time where you could get bedrock for free, when you already have java, but this offer is gone now.

When it works in the launcher too, its okay for me. THX for the info

You are right.

but the same counts for the sniffer.
If it only finds useless seeds that bring nothing new to the game it would be useess too.

The tuff golem is the worste option for me, because we already have an item moving mob (allay). And I have no idea for what a moving item frame would be good for.

to enchant an item is easy, true.
But the rascal should add any enchantments the you dont get from other ways to enchant. That is the point

It is nothing wrong with deco.

But it would be better if the new mob would bring anythink what is usefull in gameplay.
E.g. a new groable that can be used in recipes.

I aggree copper is not very usefull at the current state.

Thats why we needed to vote for copper golem last year, to give copper a realy good use in recipies
