No she is objectively a bad writer. The Sorting hat makes no sense, Peeves is never expanded on as a concept, and the redemption arc for one of the characters involves us having to feel bad for a grown man who bullied a child for several years because his middle school crush rejected him.
I'm not bring anything into this other than her sheer writing skill.
Her books are bad, or at the very least not good.
This is all coming from someone who read Harry Potter in middle school and loved the franchise for several years until I realized how poor the writing actually is.
You may think "touch grass" is clever but that's because you've only read Harry Potter books.
