Communities/Skinning So, how do you guys make palettes?

I usually just go through the color wheel and slowly click down the saturation or value, making a new addition every little bit, sounds longer than it actually takes, I like making full rainbow pallets so getting every shade helps, though I usually use piskel, aesprite and gimp editors to make them

If it can accept data packs I might be able to look into making one like that, wanted to make one for more time underwater anyway so might as well make the reverse too haha, if so lemme know what version you’re on I like a challenge

Agreed with him, we can only get better through trial and error, as long as we learn from the mistakes we encounter along the way, I’ve made some terrible designs while trying things out but eventually you’ll find more grooves you can flow with, when you feel like you’ve got something down, try something else, every failed attempt is a learning experience xP

I'm attempting mass organic builds atm and it’s definitely a learning process Haha

Hmm I have issues on this site with certain browsers like chromium and midori
what web browser are you using?

Certain ad blockers conflict with adfly as well
and is there a certain schematic it’s happening with?

its an odd issue I haven’t heard before so all info helps in figuring things out

Wow nostalgia, been a part of this site for 7 years but used it plenty before then, my favourite year was 2012 when a map of mine got featured on a YouTube channel I watched, the reason I originally made my account in the first place was just to submit that XD

There's a program i use to convert 360 saves to java, it has a pocket edition option as well but i haven't tried it out, Hope it helps!

Not sure about the second part but there are some shaders i use called sens shaders that turn everything into moving rainbows, sounds like an awesome mod idea though

here's a good tip i use

once you create an mcmeta file (for animation, pack etc)
save a copy to a folder, i have a folder filled with templates i use for that very thing
instead of having to rack your brain every time it's way easier

i also made a blog recently listing all the differences in block names between 1.12 and 1.14 if you need it
(searched everywhere and could never find something like it-.-) Here You Go

for screenshots, MultiMC is pretty handy, lets you view them right from the app and if you right click it in the instance browser, you can upload it instantly to imgurr without an account, it auto-copies the link as well, that's how i've been posting mine as soon as i take them

i create too many packs i could go on and on about how good interpolation is or ability to skip frames to smooth animations but hope these help!

I usually use worldedit, use your magic wooden axe, select the area containing your build and copy “//copy”
save as in “//schem save yourfile”
then you can just load it in your other world with “//schem load yourfile -a”
the a is to skip air blocks so it doesn’t overwrite things and it’s faster

just make sure you’re standing in front of your build in a place you’ll remember, it copy’s the structure from where you were standing relative to it

i copy over monuments constantly for testing so hope this works

I use piskel and libresprite to make pixel art then transfer them to gimp for editing for more depth
