Try running Jarfix. It's a program that fixes the .jar file association on Windows so that when you double-click on a .jar file, it actually runs (rather than having to navigate and run the file using the command line).

Click on the edit button on your server's post then go to the Update Log tab. You should see a Bump button there which will bump your server to the top of the servers list.

As HoboMaggot mentioned, each update to Minecraft makes it even more poorly optimized than it already is. Minecraft is not built in a language (Java) meant for games to be made with. That is why a lot of people can play what they consider more "demanding" games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, Cyberpunk, etc. but have poor performance in Minecraft. You can't compare those types of games together. Those large games are made using proper, optimized gaming engines meant to squeeze as much performance out of your PC's hardware as possible. Minecraft (especially Java Edition) is not and it only gets slower each time an update is released.

If you want to get better performance in the game, you can either use some of the mods already mentioned like Optifine or FoamFix which could boost your FPS or just buy better hardware.

McJty's tutorials are fairly up-to-date (as of 1.16) and shows you how to add blocks, items, GUIs, and even more advanced stuff like custom entities and renderers if you ever need it. As for learning Java, pretty much any Java tutorial will show you what you need to know to make a Minecraft mod. I quite like thenewboston's Java tutorials (even though they are quite old now). Each video is short and can be watched in easy-to-digest pieces.

The CurseForge download page is broken? It worked just fine for me. Try downloading it from this page again.

Did you try running a malware scan on your PC? Malware frequently causes Minecraft to lock up on loading screens and making you have to force-close the game through task manager. Run a scan with ADWCleaner and see if that helps.

At least the first issue is caused by malware being on your PC 99% of the time. Did you properly run a malware scan? Try running a scan with ADWCleaner and see if that helps.

The JourneyMap mod is crashing. Remove it (or use an updated version of it) and see if that helps.

We need more information than that to be able to help you efficiently. What Minecraft version are you using? What modloader are you using (Forge, Fabric, etc.)? What mods are you trying to use? Which website are you downloading them from?

You have a client-side mod (stuff like minimap, shader, or cape mods) installed on the server and Forge is trying to find a client-side-only file that doesn't exist (because you're loading up a server, not a client). Remove mods one by one until you find the one that's causing the problem.

Contact Mojang, they are the only people who can help you with account issues. Unfortunately, they had a massive backlog last we've heard so you may be waiting for a month, month and a half before you get a real response back from them.

No one but Mojang can help you out here. Create a ticket and explain that you cannot log into your account. As long as you can prove that you are the actual owner, they should be able to get you back in. Unfortunately, their support team has a huge backlog and has been at least a month to get to players last we heard, so you're going to be waiting for a while.

MCLeaks (and other "free alt" sites) are illegal and prevent you from being able to login to minecraft.net. Delete MCLeaks fully, then delete the 2 lines from your HOSTs file that relate to Mojang.

To edit your Host file, do the following: Go to the Start Menu and locate Notepad. Right-click Notepad and select Run as Administrator.
Press File, then Open. Enter %SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts as the "File name" and press "Open"

Restart your PC and then see if Minecraft works. You will also need to change your Minecraft account's password to avoid having your account compromised, as MCLeaks will have stolen your real login credentials (if you have entered them). Don't use cracked software in the future as they are illegal as previously mentioned and run on accounts stolen from real players (those are the "free accounts" that they claim to give away).

Could you please post a screenshot of your in-game F3 debug screen so that we can see your specs and settings? Also, have you tried running a malware scan on your PC using something like ADWCleaner?
