The Medieval Merchant Building has now been added to Medieval Musings download file collection. Some extra detail in the under croft includes a Hay Cart. The shop on the ground level has been fitted out as a Silk Merchant. The interiors are at 75%. I have left the bedroom and upper rooms to be filled out by you.
New Buildings keep joining the Medieval Musings Collection. I have almost completed a Merchants Shop/Residence. A simple and straight forward build, this inspiring model was sourced from Pinterest. It is a hand crafted Tudor Model by Kevin Jackson
.....and here is my interpretation of the model. I've added a few finial details to the roof :P The Schematic Download for this Build should be available this weekend sometime.
The roof on these structures were made entirely with Better Slabs Mod. A Mod you introduced me to. Takes a little bit of concentration to build with, but has some very interesting effects.
An additional 8th structure has now been added to the Medieval Musings Collection. It is titled "Medieval Boat House". Schematic will be available for download this week end :D The image below - credit/sourced from Pinterest (Model Train Buildings) was the inspiration for this build. In the spirit of the experimental build, It is a very different style of the Medieval Genre; almost cartoon'ish. It's slack roofs and irregular angles made for a different approach to construction. I used a Mod called Better Slabs Mod to help achieve this look.
NB....The build is missing water in the Port Area.....

As the first schematics begin to be readied for free upload, I would like to provide some details on the Mod List requirements; to fully enjoy these builds.
To fully enjoy the Modded Blocks I recommend using Forge1.12.2-14.23.0.2529 I recommend this particular version so you can enjoy the Better Foliage Mod

This build depicts a family farm in rural Pennsylvania, USA around the turn of the 21st Century. This particular farm has seen better days and is mostly in disuse. The owners are old and have long since given up the day-to-day jobs of keeping up with a farm. They still keep a small garden and a few hens, and they let the neighbors plant and harvest the fields. However the farm, like its, owners, is starting to show its age as the sun sets on the old family farm. Old Family Farm "Reforged" - by COLFETTERS

Having satiated my Landscaping Fix, I return to the task of interiors and detailing my Tuscany Build. From Table to Grave: I have been experimenting with Conquest Reforged and Chisel and Bits Mods. Below you will see the interiors of the Barrack's Building housing the local legions that protect the area. For those that have not heard of the Chisel and Bits Mod, I highly recommend having a look at this Amazing Mod. It essentially allows you to reshape and modify whole blocks into "Models" appropriate to your build. It allows you to work with Micro Blocks to chisel away or add to any whole block in most texture pack. Below you can see grave stones that I have made from Conquest Reforged blocks to give unique Grave Stones... You have seen my Mega Sculpture of a Merman in Aquatica My next challenge will be to create Sculptures and statues with Micro Blocks. Below is the beginnings of a miniature statue for the alter of my Church in Tuscany. You can see that I have created simple crosses a top the grave stones. Now I start to create an Angel for the alter .... Stay tuned for more updates :D
PLANTING WITH CONQUEST REFORGED A little break from interiors sees a return to some traditional landscaping Conquest Reforged Vegetation.
Tuscany is famous for its large expanses of dry grasslands and fields of arid flowers; dotted by rugged Stone Pines. Using the brushes of WorldEdit I painted the area with a selection of flowers surrounded by dry grasses. The effect gives a mottled colour to the landscape ground cover. For those wanting to use brushes in WorldEdit, I highly recommend browsing through Springstof Profile and his Easy to Follow and comprehensive tutorials for planting with WorldEdit Brushes :D
