Magic Kaito 1412: His magic is mesmerizing and entertaining.
Favorite characters: Kuroba Kaito, Suzuki Sonoko
Dr. STONE: This series had really gotten me excited. 唆るぜ、これは. P.S. The writing for the characters (especially the females) kinda sucks. Charlotte, Leonard, Chelsea, Joel, Sai. The antagonists just fall off after joining the Kingdom of Science; Tsukasa, don't you have a sister? Gen, why do you react to everything like you were just born? etc.
Favorite characters: Senkū, Dr. Xeno, Kirisame
A Place Further than the Universe: I forgot I watched this, but now I remember. I'm gonna have to rewatch this
ODD TAXI: After watching this from the first episode to the last, I felt I had to unwind it from the last episode to the first.
Favorite characters: Nikaidō Rui, Shirakawa Miho, Yano
Hetalia: An endless stream of mildly(?) offensive jokes that doesn't exclude anyone represented in the series, I think. Also a little history but not really
Favorite characters: America, England, Japan, China, Russia, Prussia, Spain
Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence: I love the silly romance between them and how everyone is wholesome. They all care for each other, and the town and the local church definitely work together to shape the atmosphere well. People in the immediate area reflect their religion's values and desired atmosphere pretty well for an anime (not the specific denomination, just overall).
Favorite characters: Lawrence, Cecilia, Abel
Ranma 1/2: Everything is so random and stupid but funny, it's kinda hard to imagine that this is the same author who wrote Maison Ikkoku.
Favorite characters: Ryōga, Ukyō, Ranma, Jusenkyo Guide, Akari
Kimagure Orange Road: The last couple episodes or so and the movies were the most memorable. Obviously, you'd need to watch the series in order for them to have an impact, though.
Favorite characters: Madoka
Maison Ikkoku: I binged this in like two days (minus the OVAs and movie(s)? I don't remember lol). I love the anime style, pacing, and story build up between Kyōko and Godai.
Favorite characters: Godai, Kyōko, Asuna, Mitaka, Yotsuya
Kino's Journey: I binged the 2000s version and then watched the stories that were exclusive to the newer anime. Each story was interesting, but I wonder why and how almost all countries were in isolation.
Favorite characters: Kino, Hermes
Kids on the Slope: I actually don't really remember watching this one, unfortunately. I enjoyed the characters' relationships with each other, though.
Favorite characters: the main characters
Violet Evergarden: The animation and detail always made me feel the characters' stories as if I was in their universe.
Favorite characters: Violet Evergarden
The Apothecary Diaries: This anime makes political family affairs interesting to learn about, even if it's fictional.
Favorite characters: Maomao, Gaoshun
CITY HUNTER: Yet again I share the same favorite songs with my mom for this anime, lol. Also, Ryō locking in be like.... Ryō when his inner dog kicks in.... Ryō when his inner gecko kicks in.... 💀. The one story I didn't like was Shinjuku Private Eyes
Favorite characters: Ryō, Kaori; (my mom's favorite: Umibōzu)
To Be Hero X: I totally didn't start watching this cause there was a guy who looked like Dr. Xeno (and there is a Xeno fan I know of who has talked about the show)
Favorite characters: Queen, Ghostblade, X, Luo, Lin Ling
You and I Are Polar Opposites: I like how Suzuki is drawn in different silly ways. Also, that there are different types of polar opposite couples is cool, and I find myself drawn to one character from each couple a lot more than the other (Suzuki, Yamada, Taira). Plus, the opening and ending animations are both creative, especially the opening's.
Favorite characters: Taira, Suzuki
Witch Hat Atelier: The episodes look like Ghibli movie quality, and the eye designs are one of my favorites (other is probably Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence). I also would like to see more intricate spells they use, especially if they have similar functions to modern conveniences.
