Minecraft/DataPacks Datapack to remove Ocean Monuments?

Hey, I don't know if you still need this but I made a datapack for you: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/monumentus-deletus/

It'll stop monuments from generating and kills any guardians that spawn.

It works on 1.20, 1.20.1 and 1.20.2. If you need an earlier version, let me know. This is my first datapack (just taught myself tonight after seeing your post), but I can try to get it working on 1.19.x

I've been having the same problem, I go to upload an image and the entire website dies and I can't connect to it for about 10mins.

However, I did find a way to fix it. I have to convert all my images to jpeg if they aren't already. Simply using a conversion tool won't work (for me), I have to open the image in a paint program (I use Pain.net) and re save it as a completely new jpeg image. It's the only way the image will upload to PMC and the site won't die.

Oddly enough since the site says it supports both jpg and png but it just refuses to let me upload pngs without erroring.

Must be the same problem with the pictures. The ones that work are likely on a image hosting site like imgur/etc.


I uploaded my avatar as well. I am also having issues seeing images uploaded to projects. While those are not using file hosting sites, I believe they are hosted via a dedicated server either operated by the staff here or another company.

I also experience issues when uploading images for projects where in the site will actually go offline on my end for about 20 minutes.

I did see the site message saying it was down and being worked on, so that's a good sign.

If you want to add images directly into the description box of your texture pack, click the button I have drawn a purple rectangle around: This will open a prompt to put in the image url.

Otherwise:

On the management page of the texture pack you are currently working on, there is a second tab above the details form that says "Images & Video". From there you can put in a YouTube video id and select images to upload which will be displayed in the big area above your description.

It would be nice to get a confirmation from a staff member that they either acknowledge the problem or are working on it. Just so we know that something is being done while we all continue to wait.

JetWolfIf it actually loaded in the end, it sounds more like a lag or connection issue o_O
Of course, PMC is quite popular, so it might be the traffic it gets too


More likely an issue with the site in some form. I know what my connection speed is, how much I'm using and I can tell when it's a network issue on my end. I have not experienced any increased load times, time outs, bad gateway errors or image issues on any other website. I visit lots of them per day, sometimes a 100 or more. Hell, I help run a forums website myself, lol. Besides, this thread is proof enough that it seems to be widespread.

Hopefully the admins are working quietly on the issue. It's actually gotten a little better for me so that's a good sign. Then again, it normally is fine right before another issue arises.

Yeah, half the time I can't see my own avatar, lol. Took about 15 minutes for the images for my newest project to appear today. Some days the site will load well but more often then not it won't load practically anything.

Lets just hope that doesn't happen and everything gets fixed when they figure out the problem or get the time to fix it.

Yeah, I'd hate to have to find another place to share my stuff, I like the format they provide here. It's easier to look at then a thread with lots of text and large pictures in it. In my opinion. But atm the site seems to be very inconsistent for me. One day, the site will work just fine, then towards the end of the night or the morning, it will start dieing and then come back randomly. So it's kind of hard to use. Like right now it acting fine.

Well, my problems are back, only this time the site dies whether or not I try to upload anything. I am sure they are working on it but I figured I'd let people know it hasn't been fixed for me yet.

I cleared my cache but still had the problem up until last night. So I am not sure what fixed it for me. I'm just glad I can continue uploading projects now.

Yeah, I am experiencing this issue right now as well. I also can't upload images to my projects as it causes me to get connection time out errors. So the site becomes offline for about 10 minutes. Anyone else having this problem?

I've been experiencing an issue where I get connection time out errors if I try to upload an image for a project. The site stays dead for about 10 minutes and then comes back normally.

Today, my avatar keeps disappearing and images on the site are partially loaded and some not at all.
