It's that time of the season, again! The entries have been rated and wow, an excellent selection this season. Lots of unique charm to each pack, and no packs I consider bad by any means. Once again, here are some final notes before we wrap up Season Three!
- Ties - A lot of the rankings ended up being tied, you'll see quite a few packs with the same ratings, perhaps for different reasons. However, based on what I have attempted to do, the top three positions should be filled by untied submissions.
- Rankings - Do not feel bad for getting a lower ranking, a lot of what this came down to is what extra little things were added. And of course the goal of One Texture, how can you change a single texture, yet by doing this add something to Minecraft.
- Top Three - If you are in the top three, and are not interested in participating next season, feel free to shoot me a message and you can judge next season. Please keep in mind that you will have to commit to this!
With all that said, I am very proud of every pack, I enjoyed going through each one. I hope everyone continues making texture packs, and expanding on the ideas they submitted. The results will be released soon, thank you, and see ya in Season Four.

Am I allowed to change item names, here's an example of what I mean

Lets say I want to change diamonds into coal, am I allowed to change the name of diamonds to coal?

Yep, that helps you in the extra points category - however make sure it's related to your texture pack :)

General question - is there freedom to do a full model replacement as well, or is it strictly just the textures?

You can only submit one texture pack if that's what you mean, and it can only have like one, mob item, or thing edited if that makes sense.

I'm just gonna put it straight, the compass and clock both have around 20+ textures apiece, but they count as one item, is this allowed?

Just to be sure, it's ok to change the potion overlay (contains the potion liquid texture) when changing the shape of an potion, right?

If I were to do a texture change for Copper Bulbs, would I be allowed to edit every possible state of it (On, Off, Oxidization Levels) or would that count as "multiple textures" to you? (And yes, copper bulbs are technically in the latest version, just under an experimental toggle on world creation.)

I think that would more or less be changing multiple textures, primarily because like cobblestone, stone Bricks etc has that, sorry

If you mean like, a Nether portal emits particles, those types are fine to edit, sounds is also 100% accepted and encouraged :)

Hey uhh, one more question. For example, if i wanted to change a sponge or a redstone lamp texture, would i be allowed to change the wet sponge/lit redstone lamp too?

Hey man, i just wanna ask something. Let's say that i want to change an all-sided texture block and decided to give it top-down-side texture. Would that be considered having multiple textures or i'm good to go?

I'm assuming you mean like, a dirt block has one texture all around, but you want to change that to add a second texture on it - in which case yea that works so long as it works in vanilla :)
