Hey, TheMountaineer, I had a few questions about the world of the Kingdom. How vast is the King's influence and power? Is it confined to the capital and Kingdom's borders? Or does he have a much greater reach than just the his political boundaries? Or is the Kingdom a universal status that encompasses all political powers in this world or continent, with the King serving as a sort of emperor or mediator between powers from the capital Kingdom?

Hey, I just realized I never really checked to make sure if it was ok with you guys that I've been planning a branching role-play off of this one that deals with a more supernatural aspect of the medieval setting. I've brought it up before but never really waited for your seal-of-approval. It doesn't really connect to pre-established or out-of-roleplay world building, but it does connect to some of the role-players and characters already established.

TheMountaineer, I have a suggestion.

The main roleplay thread has reached thousands of comments by now, with a long and complicated chain of storytelling. Useful information gets buried and plot shifts have occurred due to inactivity. And there have been attempts to move outside the bounds of possibility in this world.

My suggestion is that separate roleplays can be arranged, detailing certain segments of the kingdom's story. These roleplays would be significantly more structured than the main one, though that would remain open. They would be held in threads created by group members, and access would be mention-only. There would be a system of syntactical cues used to sort out exactly who should be doing what when. The threads would also be watched to ensure they stay within the limits of the world.

My main point here is that much could be done to add organization and make this situation more coherent. The story can be split into specific areas of interest, with a standardization to make things more readable and consistent.

(On a side note, in the future I may make a full roleplaying interface on my host to make this kind of thing easier.)

Sort of. More precisely, different stories would be able to take place in the kingdom without interfering with each other that way. In fact, somewhat of an 'alternate timelines' setup could be maintained if such was the desire.
