Eremite's Q&A (100 subscriber celebration)find_replace
You guys are actually nuts. I don't know why you're subscribed to me.
Based on the poll, a Q&A was the only idea brought up more than once as well as being the most common, so I'm sticking' with it.
Ask me anything! (Though I may refuse to answer some questions)

Another question…
who is your favorite pmc member? (if the answer is me, then other than me.)

I have no favorites.
Is Mayonnaise an instrument?
Absolutely.
1: If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?
2: If you could meet any fictional character from a book or movie, who would you choose and what would you ask them?
3: What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done in your life?
4: What's the most daring activity on your bucket list that you're determined to try someday?
5: What's the most fascinating fact you've ever learned?
6: What's something that surprised you recently, either a piece of trivia or a discovery about the world, that left you in awe?

1. C.S. Lewis. The dude has been a major influence on how I view the world and someone I've been told I am very similar to. To meet a man like him would be an honor.
2. That's a good question. I'm not quite sure I have an answer.
3. I walked through a high school for the entirety of a year holding a cardboard sign with anti-suicide messages. Strangely enough, this sort of thing got backlash from some students; teasing, mocking, that sort of thing, though they only stuck around for the first month or so. Throughout the year, I got messages from people telling me that they were grateful for the sign, and encouraged me to continue.
4. Break into North Korea. I've long held a hatred towards any oppressive regime, and to mess with them and get away with it (or die trying) would be a joy for me.
5. The Hero's Journey, as well as multiple kinds of myths and stories, are nearly consistent in every culture, despite them being isolated from one another.
6. That I had the exact same idea as Junji Ito. I only learned about this after I had written it down for a story, but his manga Uzumaki is intentionally written to have the exact same effect on readers that I was trying to write: to make them feel as if they are in a downward spiral or never-ending nightmare. Even ignoring this similarity in narrative structure and intention, we had a similar idea of using petrified humans as a factor in a setting. His was more that of a landscape of frozen people, and mine a cave, but the idea is still there.

Dude, I'll help with the North Korea thing.
Sweet. Now I got one ally, at least.

How and when did you come up with your Eremite character?
How old are you? (if that's too personal, then how many years older are you than Blue)
We subscribed to you because you are awesome, and we are nuts

EccentricEremit(e) was my Minecraft username for awhile by the time I joined PMC. I just tried any sort alliteration of "odd" and archetypically old men synonyms until I got one that wasn't taken. The one I winded up getting was EccentricEremit (missing that last "e" due to the letter limit). When I joined PMC, that's when I learned about how people made stories off of their usernames or characters, so I thought I'd join as well.
For starters, I had the skin I was using. I've uploaded it on here as my first piece of content, though the only things I did were take a "derpy grandpa" skin from an obscure website I can't remember and add a hat and the azalea-leaf cape (which I had because of a goofy SMP me and some friends had, where I just built out of moss most of the time). Regarding the character and history of Eremite, I have always based any sort of character or persona representing me as an elderly man. The kind ranged from wise and good to whacky and nonsensical; for Eremite, I figured I'd try my best to mix the two (though leaning a tad bit to the whacky side). I added the raccoon simply as a funny feature for my profile picture, but it quickly became a sort of icon for me.
Anyhow, I an obliged to plead the fifth regarding my age (as well its position to Blue's), just out of privacy for the both of us.
And thanks!

If everyone need self-love... That means that everyone need to be gay?
This is going to require both of our single braincells to figure out.
Do u play a musical instrument? If so, what do u play?
I do not, unfortunately. I was once proficient in a few kinds of hand drums, though I have not had a chance to see if it stuck.
That's cool.
Thanks!

what is your opinion of pmc?
what is your opinion of pmc?
Ruckus.
Why did you join PMC and how?
I joined because of my younger brother, BlueBoyBuilds. I saw you guys doing all sorts of wonderful nonsense and building a community that felt more tightly-knit than most others that I have seen. I wanted to join in on the ruckus, and here we are today.
I keep forgetting you're his older brother lol
That's our sibling dynamic: The older, childish one and the younger, mature one.
as in I keep forgetting you're siblings.. and that rule of logic applies to my siblings too
Cool!
why
Why not!
Fair. But I must ask:
Why not?
Why not?
because
Touche.
absolutely
