If you could add a mob to Minecraft, what would it be?

I thought this topic would be interesting, and I figured I'd see some pretty creative ideas. It doesn't necessarily have to be an animal, it could be anything. So please, if you have any ideas, go ahead and post it below.

Just an idea...
I think a new mob could be a skelaton pirate with cool pirate ships! Also there should be an evil Santa boss.

Also, Jeb said the reason the don't have a use for dragon eggs is because dragons are insanely hard to code. They said they worked around the problem with the ender dragon by allowing him to fly through solid objects.

Animals like squirrels or so, they will drop nuts when you kill them. And horses and birds and bears and pinguins in snow bioms and a lot of little creatures like bugs.

Ghosts???? This is probably what would happen sometimes after killing a zombie or a villager.... they would appear in that spot later and look for you!

They would be like zombies except they don't burn in daylight and only spawn in forests, They are stronger than zombies, and they swing their arms at you to hit you. ( scratch you )

Heres an idea, maybe some type of tameable mob that you can feed it certain items to give it special abilities.
btw, Mojang did say they were going to add monkeys. They never did however.

Monkeys, haven't see monkeys yet, i mean, they did add jungles...
baby dragons that spawn when you right click ender dragon egg- must tame with minerals the more valuable the mineral the stronger the dragon and when you feed lava (right click with lava bucket) it grows :3 can dye dragons red green or blue when they have first been tamed, and when you right click with mineral you can name dragon lol

I would also add magic a mana slot seeming theres witches why not add new villages ''Wizards'' also maby they like they can have there own village w/ a wizard tower,Libary,Potion crafting stations,Etc and you can buy books also learn new skills and you look at your skill tree or book *Whatever* and use exp for upgrading spells also have a different classes of wizards. It would really give a new taste to minecraft
The first group of ideas is great - Though, I think the second group would be better, as a server plugin/ssp mod.. It's rather game-changing
Probably a bear. They would appear rarely on the tundra and taiga biomes.
It would drop Leather and Bear's Hands that would be probably useless but u could use them to brew something awesome like... water breathing potion? I dunno, just made up something.

I Agree! Only mods have made villagers like this, though.
Not many, I have sturggle to find one :I And anyway totaly out of the subject ... I think the community are doing a better job then mojang. Don't get me wrong they have added some nice stuff but not really stuff we need Poatos,Carrots,Frames,Etc, Some people have made a hole entire different game out of moding hundreds of things, just placed onto one mod. My opinion anyway

Horse. For Transportation uses. Carriages too <-- That's what we use to ride them. Or just use saddle over me. They will run if attacked . Speed will be like silverfish.

A little walking drone, that you could build and it would follow you and shoot mobs, sorry been playing black ops 2, so future stuff is stuck in my head. haha. it would be cool though.
Minecraft definitely needs more pet-type mobs....
Maybe a villager that could become your friend and travel with you?
They would help you fight mobs and eat automatically ( what you give to them, or what they find ) to refill health.

WOuldn't add a mob really, just pretty much tame animals to be your companions, and give them better AI than what the wolves currently have.
If I'd have to add a new one, I'd have to go with Skypigs. As in, pigs that fly. Not off a cliff for that matter.
They'd probably spawn above cloud level, and they'd be, of course, tamable with carrots. When killed, they provide you with Skybeef, which, when eaten, gives you a jump-boost and a very short flight (kind of like a big hop) for ? seconds.
Also, I want other airborne mobs. And models for the fish.
