A fun way to do away with Creepers is have them get stuck in Sweet Berry Bushes and either have other mobs push it around to do more damage to it, or plink it off with a ranged weapon. Another fun way (This is usually limited to incave situations) is drop a bunch of gravel on them and have them suffocate XD. Oddly satisfying for some reason using environmental hazards to deal with them.

I usually use creepers as weapons
I dont attack them until there is a lot of mobs, then, I make the creeper come with the other mobs and make it explode to damage all of the mobs at the same time, I even use them against other creepers lol

I think there should be an item in a future update to customize how many seconds will a tnt block take to blow up so that you can make this without the creepers, it would be really cool! (yes, I really like explosions)
