PMC Postings Description Box
I hate that there is a minimum number of characters that are required to post a project to PMC. Not every posting requires a long, drawn out explanation of what the post is about. Sometimes the project speaks for itself. I hate having to come up with a big paragraph about every post I make. Should there be a minimum number of characters in order to post a project on PMC?

the character limit is to give you a chance to describe your build, and to prevent spam
for context, the this forum thread you have posted is over twice the minumum characters required for a submission description, and that is you asking a question.
from the start of my reply to your thread until the full stop at the end of the world "question" is 274 characters
150 characters is nothing and can easily be met, if you are having trouble reaching the character limit, h=just describe your submission
say you were uploading a build of a house
"this is my farmhouse i built in my survival world, it has a bedroom, a storage room with views across a valley, it took me 5 hours to build this and im very proud of it" is 169 characters, and could easily be embellished upon to include more information

it's so that people dont spam post random meaningless things. also 150 characters isnt really long so might as well write that much

150 characters is not that hard to get to. Even a quite short description usually has more than that and this comment also already contains more than 150.
It's still a pointless requirement just to post something.
