How should tridents be crafted
I'm planning on making a datapack that adds a crafting recipe for the trident, so I would like to know what crafting recipe you think makes more sense and is more balanced.
If you want an other crafting recipe that doesn't appear here then mark "Other crafting recipe*" and put it in the comments.
If I have 6-9 subscribers when the poll ends, I'll post the datapack. If I have 10+ I will keep making polls on crafting recipe datapacks.

I don't think it's fair that you decided not to, because 12 voted to make it, and only 4 voted against it.

I'll start by saying that I voted for no crafting recipe. Although I voted against it that's just my own opinion. If you were to make it an optional recipe then yes make it craft-able. Also technically 12 people voted for some kind of recipe vs 4 that voted for no recipe so I think you should probably make a recipe :P

And I think you can not specify that the crafting recipe uses Steve heads only

u can make a new item drop from guardians that u can use as a crafting ingredient for it
Sorry but I'm early in the art of making datapacks and I don't plan or know to add costum items, at least yet.
theres a lot of stuff u can do with datapacks, i suggest exploring its capabilities more :)

I feel like it would make sense that tridents are copper and prismarine crystals. It would give copper more use than it already does, plus it would tie into the fact that drowned drop copper ingots, and are found spawning near underwater ruins, which have sea lanterns (prismarine crystal). The only reason iron wouldn't make sense to me (and I know this is not a super realistic game) is that iron rusts underwater. As for the color of the copper on the trident, we already have oxidized copper, which is a nice green color.
