Flat World Data Pack Help
I am looking for someone to create a data pack that generates a mostly flat world but has the following features:
I realize that some biomes such as mesa would not generate as many terracotta color but I am hoping this could be mitigated by starting terracotta generation ~15 blocks lower or between y50 and y65.
Let me know what you want in return.
- Sea level at y 63
- Nominal ground level at y ~65
- Ground level elevation change +- 1block
- All biomes
- Rivers
- Trees
- Ravines
- Lakes
- Decorators
- Normal ocean generation
- Normal world ore generation
- Drastically reduced village generation

misode.github.io is a datapack generator that has tools for world gen datapacks, you should try messing around with that.
Datapacks cant edit world generation, youll need to make a custom world and import a json file with world settings in.
https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Custom
You can make your own world settings (and visualise the flatness of the world in the noise section) here

Datapacks can edit world gen though.
ye they already said that
The Custom World Generation page appears to suggest otherwise. See also Caves and cliffs snapshot article where they provide a prototype data pack to add in the caves and cliffs world generation.
Ill see what I can do for 1.16.5
Nope nvm. Minecraft doesnt want to register custom world gen through datapacks most of the time for some reason and gives no error. Also noise is a tough nut to crack.
