Dispenser for Milking Cowslocal_library
Might as well and go ahead and get ahead of curve, when the new block for auto crafting comes out why not have it where we can finally milk cows? So we can have our auto cake farms.
Example, load the dispenser with empty buckets and if the dispenser is facing (and detects a cow at least one block in front) the cow then [DROP] a milk bucket upon being activated by a red-stone input, and then it destroys the one empty bucket.
From there, you could place a hopper under the cow and it would collect the milk buckets..

I like the basic idea 🥂
Considering that sheep can already be autosheared, this is less of a stretch than it would have been a few years back…
However, because there is no cooldown after milking a cow, I would think putting a bit of a limit on the process would be in order.
if one considers how a dispenser loaded with empty buckets handles water or lava, having the milk bucket obtained from milking the cow appear in the dispenser as the empty bucket count decrements seems logical.
Because milk buckets are non-stackable, this would limit one to nine at a time unless employing some finesse….
