How do I prevent people from subscribing to me?
I don't want to be subscribed to. I hate when people have my post history readily available on a website, it made me stop using reddit and a lot of forums.
Privacy counts. It's only my business when and where I post or game or submit art and writing etc.
(I've never been able to get rid of subs on my other MC forum either ftr).
For the time being, I'm eventually blocking and unblocking everyone who subs to me to make them be unsubbed, but as a rule, please ASK and GET TO KNOW ME before following what I do on here. Thanks.

The only way to stop an individual from subscribing is by blocking them, unblocking again afterwards if you dont want the other effects of a block. Unfortunately there isnt a way to just make your account unable to be subscribed to. Most people really only pay attention to their friends when they subscribe to people, if they really like your content they might keep an eye out for more, but I find a lot of people who susbscribe to a lot of others dont actually pay them any mind.
All that being said, I personally tend to do that block/unblock trick if someone subscribes to me and I feel like its for one of a few reasons I disagree with, had a few persistent people I've had to do it like 4 times to because they didnt get the hint. Colored name goes brrrrrr I guess.

Why would you not want people to subscribe to you? The more subs the more you can show off your content!
Also if you don't want people seeing things you can draft them. (At least with skins)
I just sub to anyone who is nice and/or makes good skins. (Since that's what I'm interested in mostly)

I just trashpost for the most part. My comments are low value snarkcasm and I doubt people who think I'm worth subbing to read anything I write.

lol. Anyway, I dont think there is a way to stop somebody from subbing to you, sadly. But I guess blocking does work.

If you are looking for a more anonymous platform, they exist, but PMC is not one of them. Neither is Reddit or a lot of forums. That's just not what they were made for. They were designed to be social platforms, not anonymous blogs.

Alright, on second thought, I'm going to ask everyone to sub to me :D. That way nobody in particular will focus on me and I'll blend in with all the other subs people have.
