Texture pack won't show up unless i extract it from a .zip file to normal folder in recourse packs
All of my resource packs show up and work as .zip files in resource pack in .minecraft, except for 3
2 of which are my own, 1 which i downloaded. the only show up when i extract them in the folder, and i would prefer to keep them as .zip files
any thoughts on why these 3 don't want to cooperate with Minecraft as a.zip files?

check if zipped versions have another folder in between.
Correct structure:
.zip or folder

pack.mcmeta
pack.png
incorrect structure:
.zip or folder
|
folder <- this is the reason, why Minecraft doesn't see the resourcepack as resourcepack
