Minecart refusing to go uphill
I'm building a minecart track, and every time the cart has to go uphill by as much as one block, it occasionally fails to do so, and begins falling backwards. I'm using power rails on the uphill parts, there's plenty of blocks between each uphill rail block, and I even tried holding the W key to try make the cart go faster, but quite often, it is unable to go uphill for no clear reason when a player is sat in it.

The first thing I would try is connecting the powered rails on the slope to the nearest detector rails/powered rail trio (removing the detector rails) and see if the cart behaves properly when the sloped powered rails are permanently powered.
If that works, moving the trio farther from the slope might work (or just keeping all the powered rails powered, which would also be cheaper and less laggy).
If permanently powered rails on the slope don't work, I'd try raising the roof or moving the walls back. (These ought not be necessary, but Ye Olde Glitche Monster strikes when on least expects it.)
Another thought: In some versions, powered rails' state can glitch if being powered from two sources. (I can't see what is powering the rail on the upslope, but it looks like it is not the nearest detector rail — there being what looks like a normal rail between them.)

Have you tried placing the power rail in front of the trail that goes up? So, the rail that goes up is a normal rail, and the one in front of it is a power rail? It works right at the beginning of your video, too, and there it's just a regular rail.
