That is already achieved by a lot of mods and datapacks. Although I would like to include it, it would be too unoriginal.
Hows about more armor?
We already have a lot of armor, but it would be nice to have better ways to customize the statistics of it. (e.g, durability, knockback resistance, etc.)

It IS supposed to be a hard-to-navigate wasteland, and we do already have Lodestones, which you can make with Netherite, found in the Nether.
