I never really got scared of a lot of movies as a kid (Since I knew movies weren't real, even though I still lived in their fantasy world), but for some darn reason, I got the most freaking nightmares from the Shrek movies. First in Kindergarten, then the next two at 10 years old, and now more than three at 17+! Maybe it's possibly because of the hyper-realistic-looking CGI that penetrates my vision spheres (eyes), but if this franchise used an ugly-cute form of CGI or the Don Bluth style they were intentionally going for before, this franchise would've gave me less nightmares and more fond memories to look upon.
But if TV episodes count in this scenario, then the episode "Space Emperor" from Uncle Grandpa gave my teenage-self a good scare from Uncle Grandpa and everything Cartoon Network-related in general before Peridot 5XG brought be back to it with her adorable non-limb-enhanced appearance. :3

The zombie/undead monkey of Pirates of the Carribean was always the thing that haunted me when I was a kid. There was this "jumpscare" of it somewhere in the movie and ever since I saw that I was scared of this monkey coming to scare me in the dark. :P
Warning! It's in this spoiler.
i, still to this day, cannot watch ET.
he’s just so.... weird and unnatural-looking? i can’t describe it, but i just can’t look at him.
i tried to watch, idk, i think it was cinemasins for ET recently and i just couldn’t. i had to cover the screen and eventually just quit the video.

Home Alone 3!
Sebulba from the Phantom Menace really messed with me as a kid.

call me weird, but when i was about 6 i found Monster House scary, when i was maybe 4-6 i was afraid of the wizard of oz (bc of dat witch) and thats about it i think. (i was a fairly brave kid xD)
I kind of have to agree with you on the Monster House one. For my case, the Never-Cracker guy kind of scared me away from the movie as a kid, and from that, I never got to the part where the kids actually got to see the super cool yet also intriguing monster house. :T
my problem as a kid was the house itself i think. i was a wuss xD
For some reason I found the Teletubbies horrifying due to their unnatural faces...
eh ohhh!!!
I was terrified of David Bowie as the Golbin King from the Labyrinth
I still need to see that movie. Would you recommend...even though David Bowie, the star man waiting in the sky, dun dun DUNNNN, was terrifying?
oh yes, I would definitely recommend, who wouldn't like an 80's rock musical starring the legend himself (rest in peace, sweet prince)
Star Wars Episode 3, I couldn't handle the scene where Anakin Skywalker burned by the lava and then became Darth Vader.
Yooooo... that messed me up as a kid too. I saw that movie when it came out in theatres. Never have I ever had to pee as much as I did by the end of that movie..
